About Me
Hello there! I’m an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, yoga teacher, and therapist, offering embodied trauma support and holistic recovery approaches. My areas of interest are cPTSD, neurodivergence, attachment trauma, and spirituality in therapy. I practice from an identity affirming framework, using Relational Integrative EMDR- an attachment based EMDR therapy model.
As an Advanced Clinical Resource Therapist and Trainer (parts work) I am also passionate about training other therapists to utilise parts work in their everyday practice.
I live and work on Wadawurrung/Wathaurong Country in Geelong, and I’d like to acknowledge the Traditional Owners of this land, their enduring connection to Country, and their deep understanding of cycles and rhythms. I pay my respects to Elders past, present, and emerging and recognise that sovereignty was never ceded.
My interests include yoga (only classes- I am sooo bad at practicing at home alone!), reformer pilates for managing chronic pain, living and playing by the ocean, waterfalls, bush walks, hiking, and spending time 1:1 with friends and loved ones. I have a niggling urge to find a 'proper' hobby, possibly something artistic!
As a white, cisgender, and tertiary-educated person, I recognise that I approach this work from a place of privilege. I’m also part of the queer community and am neurodivergent, which informs some of my lived experience. While my perspective shapes this blog, I want to acknowledge that much of what I share-especially about cyclical living- comes from my personal experience and professional training. It won’t resonate with or apply to everyone.
Professionally, I am an Accredited EMDR practitioner with EMDRAA, trained in advanced Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) for trauma related disorders, and have completed my Advanced Clinical Resource Therapy certification. My passion lies in supporting people through trauma recovery in ways that are deeply embodied and holistic. I also draw on my yoga teacher training to help clients reconnect with their bodies and find balance.
In 2025-2026 I am taking new clients as part of my Intensive EMDR Immersions Program (2 Day, 3 Day and 6 Day retreat-inspired intensive format therapy). More information can be found here. My 2026 dates for the Resource Therapy Foundation and Clinical Trainings can be found here.
Ultimately, I hope this blog provides value and sparks curiosity for anyone reading, whether you share similar experiences or your own unique rhythm and journey.
